Today we’d like to introduce you to Shelley Rosen.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I have a background in brand marketing. I was in search of starting a subscription business and was looking for a product. I heard about the product in England and quested to learn more about this product I started Luxe Bloom to meet an unmet need in the market to help leading luxury hotels have their hotel always look appointed with floral.
Luxe Bloom is a transformative innovation in floral. We provide long lasting luxurious rose arrangements leading luxury hotels on a subscription basis. Our roses do not need water to keep their natural beauty and can last up to 60 days without care. They come in over 20 colors and we make all the arrangements in Chicago and ship direct. This innovation allows us to change the way people buy flowers as they can now be bought in Chicago and shipped. With our commitment to brand standards, we can now provide the same design of arrangements in various locations within an organization. Leading hotels tell us we are saving time and money with our floral without comprising the beauty they need. We offer flowers that stay fresh longer.
Consumers can buy our collection on www.luxebloom.com and we are on Amazon now.
Has it been a smooth road?
Starting an undercapitalized business is very difficult. We knew we had a good idea after we did a pilot with the Waldorf Astoria in NY. I grossly underestimated the sales cycle for a business to the business firm in the hospitality sector. The buyer is really busy running a property. He has numerous sales rep vying for his attention. Breaking through is tough but once we share our value proposition we can turn this into a winning contract.
After a career in Fortune 50 firm, we had numerous resources and human capital. Today we do not have either. Finding people who have our work ethic and values have been hard to find. Finally, we are always on a capital quest. Breaking through in a non-tech world we find it challenging to raise capital.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Luxe Bloom, LLC – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.

Luxe Bloom has just been named the Official Lasting Luxury Floral Provider to Forbes Travel Guide; the leader in vetting luxury hotels.
We are proud to have figured out all aspects of this business and are gaining momentum I the area of being a leading floral provider. In 2015 we were selected to be the floral provider to the prestigious retailers Saks Fifth Avenue to fabric all 33 windows with 100,000 roses. We designed windows for Chanel, Dior, Tom Ford Guerlain and more. We were also very proud to have been named the “Official Flower to Walt Disney Beauty and the Beast” for the blockbuster film in March 2017. we provided the RED CARPET with our luxurious rose wall with over 8000 of our roses in a display. Finally and most importantly we are proud to serve the finest leading luxury hotels in the USA with our innovation; hotels with the more discriminating guests.
We will continue to focus on customer acquisition while we serve our current client base.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
Chicago is my town. I am so proud to be an Ambassador of the great city of Chicago- the architecture, the food, lakefront, and people make it a magical place. I am also happy that our Midwestern values of humility, ethics, and transparency prevail in our company and are the foundation for us to grow.
I am only saddened that a world-class city like Chicago still has race, poverty and crime issues. It is appalling to me that we can not overcome this for a mature welcoming city.
